Juvederm

l-1Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus are natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin to non-surgically correct facial wrinkles and folds. Juvederm Ultra has been used by dermatologic surgeons worldwide since 1996, and has quickly become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. Juvederm is made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the skin. Juvederm injections are simple and results are practically instantaneous. Side effects of Juvederm are minimal.

The most common areas for Juvederm injections are the nasolabial folds (creases from the nose to mouth), the nasomental creases (corners of the mouth), tear troughs (the hollow or dark circle below the eyes), around the lips, as well as cheek and chin contours. Results can last six months or longer, depending on the area treated. For best results, dermatologists often combine dermal fillers like Juvederm with Botox, a so-called the non-surgical facelift. This combination combats two of the major changes in the aging face: Botox relaxes tense muscles while Juvederm restores volume and softens folds. Juvederm treatments are very well tolerated and usually performed after topical or local anesthesia. There is virtually no down-time after Juvederm treatment. Redness and swelling are common for 1 to 2 days after the procedure. Bruising rarely occurs, but can take 3 to 7 days to fully resolve. You can apply makeup and resume normal activity immediately after the treatment. Please explore our site to learn more about dermal fillers, and to view before and after photos of Juvederm patients. Restylane

l-2Restylane and Perlane are natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds without surgery. Restylane has been used by dermatologists since 1996, and Restylane injections have quickly become one of the most popular aesthetic procedures performed by cosmetic dermatologists. Restylane is made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the skin. Because of its origins, Restylane is long-lasting, safe, and hypo-allergenic – it will not cause an allergic reaction – and therefore no pre-testing is required, as some other injectable dermal fillers do. The procedure is simple and results are practically instantaneous.

Restylane is most commonly used in the nasolabial folds (creases from the nose to mouth), the nasomental creases (corners of the mouth), tear troughs (the hollow or dark circle below the eyes), around the lips, as well as cheek and chin contours. Results can last six months or longer, depending on the area treated. For best results, we often combine products like Restylane filler with Botox, the so-called liquid facelift. This combination combats two of the major changes in the aging face: Botox relaxes tense muscles while Restylane restores volume and softens folds.

Restylane treatments are usually performed after topical or local anesthesia, and are very well tolerated. Side effects of Restylane are minimal and there is virtually no downtime after treatment. Redness and swelling are common for 1-2 days after the procedure. Bruising rarely occurs, but can take 3-7 days to fully resolve. You can apply makeup and resume normal activity immediately after the treatment. Photographs of patients taken before and after Restylane treatments show actual results. Learn more »

Radiesse

l-3Radiesse dermal filler is one of the newest non-invasive dermal fillers. Radiesse injections add volume to contour and shape facial features. Radiesse is made of calcium-hydroxyapatite (a naturally occurring substance) microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. The effects are immediate, and after several months, Radiesse stimulates the body to produce new collagen, prolonging the effect of the filler treatment. Radiesse is often used to reduce nasolabial folds, smiles lines, but can be used to fill the cheeks, chin, and reshape the nose. The effects of Radiesse dermal filler can last more than one year – longer than Juvederm and Restylane. The procedure typically takes less than 20 minutes. Radiesse is made of a naturally occurring substance, so there is no need for undergoing an allergy test before its use. Radiesse side effects include redness, swelling, or bruising after injection, but are otherwise negligible. To see examples of our work, please browse the gallery of before and after Radiesse treatment photos.
